Kirstin W - for our
Shine the Light on Human Trafficking event - coming up on Wednesday June 17. We'll need quite a few people, nothing too strenuous. As Rotary International is starting to focus on Human Trafficking, it will become a larger part of our focus as time goes on. Everyone, should do everything they can to attend. And, please advise your family and friends; this is a huge problem, which can easily go unnoticed. There will be 3 sections, breaks with live music in between, and included in the speakers are 2 survivors who will be telling us their story.
Doors open at 6:30. It is at Tapestry Hall.

Duck RACE Sunday JUNE 14th - Todd will finalize volunteer responsibilities as it draws closer; roughly times will mostly be 10am start, and done by about 2pm; so not a long day.
Todd picked up the ducks today. They have been in training hosted by Ducks Unlimited. Quack, Bang.
He will send times etc via email to those who signed up.

Good News:
Kristin: A teacher reached out to our club for $ to provide helmets for kids to ride their bikes. We helped out.
Paul Cody's dog Bernie helped Paul avoid a possible social interaction with a lady in the condo elevator. Bernie wiped his butt on the lady's leg. Puts a damper on things.
Jim Johnson had his birthday dinner with some Rotary Friends. He recalled all the friends he has made through Rotary over the years.
Erica fixed her pool heater. There may be more to this story.
